name: Adam Daryl Wicks
age/grade: 17/Senior
premade: The Young Father
played-by: Danny Jones

Facts:
1. Adam was born to George and Delilah Wicks. Delilah was a well established writer for a popular magazine, and George had a high position in a landscaping company. They were absolutely ready for kids when Delilah first got pregnant. In fact, it managed to fit right into the schedule she had drawn up for them. Adam was a healthy baby, if a little too whiny at times. Adam's younger brother, who came only a little over a year after him was the unexpected one. Adam often jokes that if they hadn't factored him in, they'd have the perfect family, but his mother is quick as a bullet to admonish him for any such statement. Adam also has a little sister, Samantha, who was born only three years ago.
2. As a kid, Adam was always getting into trouble. He loved pulling pranks on everyone in his neighborhood, something that often times made his mother sick with worry or frantic with consoling the neighbors. Adam didn't mind much, because as soon as she had her back turned he'd be off again to cook up another scheme.
3. Because Adam's parents both worked long hours, Adam spent many of his days at daycare, where he met his first friend. Asher was a little bit weird and a little bit crazy, but honestly Adam loved it. Asher could make him laugh so easily, and he was always willing to help Adam play a prank on ladies who looked out for them. Adam's friendship with Asher never really faded away, as they attended the same school. Even when some of their interests were a bit different, like science and fashion, they still found something to act stupid over together. Adam has some of his best times with Asher, who he would definitely consider his best friend.
4. Adam didn't cool down until his teens, when he started spending more of his time in his room drawing out clothing designs rather than running around wild. Of course his hobby didn't keep him from partying and hanging out to ungodly hours with friends. His mother often regretted not being able to spend more time at home to whip him into shape, but she couldn't pull herself away from work long enough to make sure he was being the perfect child. Adam is glad she can't, because he sees himself as very capable of taking care of himself and knows the more she'd be around to nag the less he'd want to do the right thing.
5. Adam grew up in a protestant home, Baptist to be specific, but he practises Catholicism today. He might have just picked it up to make his mom mad. That's a pretty good sum up for Adam's relationship with his mother. He's always worked hard to drive her crazy, even if he doesn't acknowledge that the reason might have been that he was jealous of how close his little brother was to her. If he couldn't make her happy, then he'd do whatever he could to get the opposite reaction and the same amount of attention. When she first found out he was going to be a father, she actually thought he might have done it just to try and put her in an early grave. Adam's relationship with his dad is similar to a long distance one. They talk every now and then, but they don't really get on that well. They like each other well enough, but they just don't have enough in common to hold a conversation. Although, their lack of relationship probably has more to do with Adam's refusal to attempt to be close to either of his parents.
6. Adam grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, so Gilman School was the natural selection when it came time for high school. Adam definitely wasn't adverse to attending, since he had friends going there too.
7. Between Adam's sophomore and junior year he had sex for the first time. It wasn't long after that he found out the girl was pregnant. She was the only girl Adam had been with, and after that he was going to be a father. He couldn't really believe it at first, but instead of running he took full responsibility as the dad. He had always wanted children, even if it was a bit sooner than expected. His child was born on February 16th, 2008.
8. Adam's dream for the future is to become a fashion designer. He's loved clothes since he was little, and has been working for the past few years to better his skills in designing and sewing. His kid has put a bit of a spin on things, but Adam is determined to give him a good life and make his dream come true. If it came to choosing though, Adam wouldn't hesitate to do what he knew was right.
9. Adam has always been a big fan of the cute and cuddly. He wouldn't easily admit it, but he loves cute animals, stuffed animals, and warm hugs. He's such a big fan of animals that he has three of his own, much to his mother's dismay. He has a dog named Zucko, that has been around for five years now. Next he got a ferret named Ricky, about a year ago - who happens to be his mother's least favorite out of all the pets. The most recent pet he's gotten, as a present from a friend, is a now ten week old kitten named Snickers.
10. School isn't exactly one of Adam's higher priorities. Before he had a kid it wasn't that important, and now he finds even less time to worry about it. Adam works hard enough to get by, and keep his chances of going to college up - even if this has meant a few study or tutoring sessions. He's never really liked school though, and finds it hard to get the motivation to do the really hard stuff.
